The studio can accommodate any surround format needed, including Sony's SDDS with 5 front channels and Home Theater/Blu-ray's 7.1 with 3 Front / 4 Surrounds. IMAX, with its "Voice of God", and older formats from the film world plays
here too.
Soundtrack restoration for DVD accounts for the largest group of clients.

LB Labs handles both NTSC and PAL formats, complete rebuilds for M&E's, editing ,mixing and format conversions. Cube-Tec's AudioCube is the platform, supported by Pro Tools HD, Cedar Audio and other outboard equipment. Restorations can be performed at up to 192KHz and delivered in multiple
formats and resolutions. High-end 7.1 surround systems by Genelec and Dunlavy are utilized in mastering.

The studio is equipped with technology to eliminate / reduce distortion, hum, buzz, ticks, pops, crackle , clipping, hiss , rumble , camera noise ,RF-interference , timecode bleed and azimuth/phase errors.

Surround technology's include Dolby Digital, DTS, Pro Logic , Pro Logic-II and CS-II.
Stereo-to-surround sound conversion is performed using proprietary software for superior front image and split-surrounds.
These conversions are fully compatible with mono/stereo and matrix-surround
Technologies.
